Making magical memories that last a lifetime…
Tracey and Kestin are busy mothers and entertainment industry professionals who share a love for creating magical immersive experiences. Meeting initially at WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) last century, they went on to have successful careers in Venue and Event Management, Theatre Production and Stage Mangement.
Staying in contact over the years they finally came together, jumped down the rabbit hole and created their own magical wonderland, The Beyond Realms – where dreams come true.
Meet the Team
Tracey
Beginning at WAAPA, where destiny intertwined her path with Kestin, Tracey fell in love with the intricacies of staging, including set design, painting, and construction, which laid the foundation for a career that would dance between imagination and reality.
Venturing backstage at Crown, Tracey plays a vital role in orchestrating the magic behind the curtains in the Perth theatre industry. Moving on to nationwide tours across Australia and New Zealand early in her career she solidified her place as a sought after professional and soon travelled to London’s West End immersing herself in the epicenter of theatrical grandeur.
Tracey wears many creative hats including being an illustrator, scenic artist and costume designer and as the Creative Director of The Beyond Realms, Tracey’s artistic vision inspires the diverse offerings The Beyond Realms delivers. Her passion for creating immersive experiences is the heartbeat of this unique children’s venue.
Kestin
Kestin has always had a passion for live performance, theatre and music. Graduating WAAPA in Venue Operations she took on the role of Operations Manager at His Majesty’s Theatre and then General Manager at Subiaco Arts Centre spending 13 years in her much loved Perth theatre industry.
Seeking change and a challenge she made a move to large scale venue operations in the concert music scene and became the Event Manager at Perth Arena playing a key role in the operational logistics of opening a brand new 15,500 seat venue.
Over the 21 years as a professional in the arts and entertainment industry and after becoming a mother, Kestin developed a talent and love of creating and producing so when the opportunity to collaborate with Tracey came along she jumped at the chance to make magic for children.
Realising this new passion was definitely a long term plan the idea to create a venue and a company unlike any other in Perth quickly became the goal and The Beyond Realms came alive.
